Welcome to our education and learning pages.
SHBT welcomes learners of all ages to its different buildings across Scotland, through either organised visits or Doors Open events. Educational activities can range from pre-arranged talks, activities over lunch to half day programmes.
For schools, different educational packages are available depending on the time you have to spare. All activities are linked to Curriculum for Excellence outcomes within Social Studies.
If you are a teacher, parent or training provider who would like to arrange a school, or group visit to one of our properties or you wish to have a general discussion about the different educational options available please call our Property Manager on 0131 220 1232 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
For outreach activities around the Riddle's Court re-development and the Patrick Geddes Centre for learning please call our Learning Officer on 0131 220 1232 or email Learning@shbt.org.uk

Riddle's Court, Edinburgh
• Activities for school groups
Riddle’s Court is a 16th Century merchant’s house on the Royal Mile in the Old Town, Edinburgh opposite Gladstone’s Land and very close to Edinburgh Castle, The Writer’s Museum, The Storytelling Centre, St Giles Cathedral and many other attractions. As Riddle's Court is currently undergoing a major redevelopment, to re-open in 2017, we are not able to offer activities on site at the moment.
