Our Buildings
Introduction
Our portfolio of unique historic buildings has emerged out of the projects we have undertaken. We do not retain all of the buildings we restore and vary our approach to suit the individual needs of each project and property. We may also take on management of a building during the project development period, with any resultant income being put towards the building’s upkeep and eventual restoration.
Upon completion of their restoration, some buildings may be fully rented out to long-term tenants whilst others are divided into individual office suites and event spaces, directly managed by the Scottish Historic Buildings Trust (SHBT). Almost all of our buildings are regularly open to the public in some capacity, be it for public events or Doors Open Days.
