Introduction
The Scottish Historic Buildings Trust is an independent charity that receives no core funding. The day-to-day maintenance of our buildings and each project that we undertake are supported by our commercial activities as well as a variety of grants, donations and in-kind contributions. Each and every contribution you make, whether it be by hiring one of our buildings for an event, donating to a specific project, giving your time as a volunteer, purchasing an item in our shop or simply spreading the word about what we do, helps us to continue our work saving historic buildings across Scotland and bringing them back to life.

As a charity, we rely on your generosity to ensure that we can continue to restore important and unique buildings for future generations. If you are interested in leaving us a legacy in your will, or would like to find out more about how your donation will be used, please get in touch.
Volunteer
Whether you are looking to enhance your CV, make new friends or simply be part of the team endeavouring to save Scotland’s at-risk buildings, we’d love to hear from you. Activities can range from cataloguing, creation of resources, day to day building management and administration of properties or events.

If you visit us in person don’t miss the opportunity to view our books, greetings cards and gifts available for purchase. We are also in the process of setting up an online shop so you will shortly be able to order merchandise online. All proceeds go towards supporting our work.
